Abilene Hope Haven
Their mission is to inspire hope in our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness. When our most basic needs are met, food, clothing, and shelter, then we are able to fully function, which is a core belief of Abilene Hope Haven and Home Again West Texas. They work with each neighbor to address his or her housing needs through one of their programs or by means of referral to other area organizations.
They offer permanent housing solutions for our most vulnerable neighbors. Servicing out of Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Kent, Knox, Mitchell, Nolan, Runnels, Scurry, Shackelford, Stephens, Stonewall, Taylor and Throckmorton Texas, Abilene Hope Haven is willing to help those experiencing homelessness in any way they can.

West Central Texas regional foundation - ssvf
Their goals are preventing homelessness among Veterans and their families, providing rapid re-housing and enhancing independent living skills among individuals.
The West Central Texas Regional Foundation offers Preventative and Stabilization Services for Veterans in the West Central Texas region. Services include outreach, case management, help in obtaining and coordinating other public services and limited temporary financial assistance for some services.
Their programs include case management to develop a housing stability plan, assistance in obtaining benefits and referrals and coordination of services with community service agencies. Another program they offer is temporary emergency financial assistance which is offered based on financial needs criteria. They offer limited assistance for rent, utilities and/or deposits childcare, bus fares, storage and moving costs and emergency supplies. Lastly, the West Central Texas Regional Foundation coordinates with partners to provide financial counseling or legal assistance.

love and care ministries
The ministry provides over 415,000 meals annually, clothing and financial assistance for emergency needs. Their goal through God’s help is to serve the less fortunate in the Abilene community. What started as a ministry to the homeless in the community has turned into major provisions for our vulnerable neighbors in Abilene.
Love and Care Ministries provides a food pantry, clothing, hot meals prepared five days a week for anyone in the community, a prayer room and church ministry groups.
